Our bulk billing Chapel Hill doctors have the skills and knowledge to manage your medical needs ranging from acute illnesses or injuries to preventative health and complex chronic medical conditions. We treat patients from infancy, through childhood, adolescence, early and late adulthood, the elderly including nursing home and end of life at home care.

Dr Colin Davis is a local graduate from the University of Queensland and has worked at a number of major south east Queensland hospitals. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a passion for providing comprehensive care to all ages.

Outside of medicine he enjoys the outdoors, healthy living and is an award winning wildlife photographer!

Dr Mai Nguyen

MBBS (Hons) FRACGP

Mai graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994 with second class honours. She spent several years working in various specialties in the Caboolture, Royal Brisbane, Mater Children's and Canberra hospitals. She also enjoyed brief stints in Emerald, St George, Toowoomba, Mornington Island, Yarrabah Aboriginal Community and Auckland Hospital before and during her general practice training.

Dr Mai joined Kenmore Family Medical Practice as a partner in 2004. She enjoys the broad nature of family practice and focuses on providing a holistic and preventative approach to medical care. Dr Mai cares for nursing home patients at Fairview, Pinjarra Hills and the Iona/ Tarry Brae complex. Dr Mai teaches medical students and junior doctors at our practice.

When off duty, she enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

Dr Kim Weber

MBBS, MD

Dr Weber graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991. After doing her residency at the Princess Alexandra Hospital she undertook medical research in the field of ‘cellular adhesion’ at Brigham and Women’s hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston and LMU (Ludwig Maxilliam Universitat) in Munich, achieving a German qualification equivalent to a doctorate (PhD).

Dr Weber has been working in general practice since 2004. Her interests include family planning and women’s health and she is skilled and enjoys all aspects of the field including caring for nursing home and disabled patients. Dr Weber is an experienced practitioner with an enthusiastic, personal approach and empathetic manner. Kim participates in teaching of medical students at our practice.

Outside of work she enjoys travel, hiking, cycling, skiing and is a real dog lover.

Dr Mark McGrath

MBBS, MPhil, FRACGP

Dr McGrath is an experienced Brisbane-based GP who loves living in the community he serves. He applies a holistic, thorough, evidence-based approach often with a psychological emphasis.

Dr McGrath is experienced in all fields of general practice and has a particular interest in treating eating disorders, overweight concerns, depression and anxiety. He also enjoys treating men's health, sports & chronic injuries, chronic medical conditions, basic skin checks and minor surgery.

Dr McGrath works as an assistant surgeon, predominantly in orthopaedics at the Wesley Hospital. His work as an assistant surgeon allows him to improve his skills in specialty areas and maintain a useful link to the hospital and its specialists.

Dr McGrath has extensive experience in the field of ophthalmology (eyes) including achieving a Master's degree in medical research in the area.

Dr Karen Yuen

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Yuen graduated in 1981 after working at the Royal Brisbane and Queen Elizabeth hospitals has been working as a GP since 1985 predominantly in Brisbane. Karen also works at the Health Service at the University of Queensland treating students and staff.

She is an experienced, thorough and empathetic GP with skills in all areas of general practice including adolescent health, women’s health and travel medicine. Karen also works in a clinical advisory role. Karen has previously worked as a tutor at the University of Queensland and participates in the teaching of medical students at our practice.

Outside of work Karen enjoys swimming, travel and reading.

Dr Simone Peacock

MBBS, BA, Grad Dip Communication

Simone emigrated from South Africa at age ten and is a genuine local having grown up in the local area and continues to live here. She graduated from University of Queensland medical school in 1977. Dr Peacock is a longstanding member of Kenmore Family Medical Practice having started her GP life here in 1981. She has extensive experience in women’s health having worked for Family Planning Queensland for five years and she set up a servicewomen’s health clinic at Enoggera Barracks (2HSB) which she ran for 12 years while continuing her work here at the practice. Since 2006, Dr Peacock has served rural and remote communities with the Royal Flying Doctor Service providing both a general and women’s GP service to the Gulf of Carpentaria and Western Queensland. She attained two further academic qualifications in science communication and journalism in 2000 and 2004.

She is passionate about teaching and has worked as a tutor for the University of Queensland medical school since 2006 and also teaches medical students and junior doctors at our practice.

While maintaining a generalist practice her special interests are women’s health and mental health. Dr Peacock is appreciated by her colleagues for both her experience and gregarious personality.

In her spare time Simone enjoys travel, skiing and is an experienced trekker including Everest Base Camp, Kilimanjaro/ Nepal and Kokoda.

Dr Brendan Ah Yui

BPharm, MBBS, FRACGP

Brendan graduated from medical school at Griffith university in 2012. He has worked in a range of disciplines while completing his residency at the Gold Coast University Hospital and has spent time working rurally in Roma and Miles.  

Previously he worked as a pharmacist but had a desire to become more involved in the primary care patients so he returned to university to study medicine with the aim to specialize as a general practitioner.  

Dr Brendan enjoys all aspects of general practice  and focuses on delivering healthcare in patient centered approach to ensure that every patient he sees not only has their concerns addressed but feel more empowered about managing their own health. 

Outside of work Brendan is a big sports fan particular rugby league but also enjoys traveling and spending time with his young family.

Dr John Yi

MD, FRACGP (Currently away for 2020 due to Australian Defence Force committments)

John is a GP who graduated from medical school at Flinders University in 2013 . He completed his internship and residency working in various specialities at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. John is also a member of Australian Army and has worked in Gallipoli Barracks in Enoggera since 2016, as well as at various GP practices across Brisbane. 

John enjoys all aspects of general practice with strong interest in preventative care and paediatrics. He is in the final stages of obtaining Diploma of Child Health from Children’s Hospital Westmead.

In his spare time, John enjoys travelling, playing sports and watching Bluey with his son Daniel.
